co-organization of the 2006 FIFA World Cup

Participation in the summer fairytale of the 2006 World Cup in Germany, one of the biggest sporting events in the world, for the host cities Munich and Nuremberg, previously at the FIFA Confederations Cup 2005.

Project manager for fussball.de in the DFB IT working group.

The digitization of the largest sports association in the world with over 7 million members and 150,000 teams in 25,000 clubs, previously managed on paper, is one of the largest and most successful examples of sustainable digital change management in Germany. Fussball.de is now one of the largest web portals in Germany with over 5 billion page views.
